On February 20th, Pinnacle attended the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce State of the City luncheon at the Pasadena Convention Center. This year’s luncheon featured Pasadena’s Mayor, Jeff Wagner, as the keynote speaker and revealed the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce’s 2020 Business of the Year.
In 2019, Pinnacle was selected as the chamber’s 2019 Business of the Year. This award recognizes an organization that has impacted the Pasadena community through their active involvement in community organizations, participation in local events, and financial stewardship.
Pinnacle celebrated 13 years as a business in May of 2019 and has grown from a small team in a Pearland warehouse to a 900-employee workforce on an 18-acre campus in Pasadena, Texas. One way that Pinnacle supports the Pasadena community is through its Community Outreach program, a committee that coordinates volunteer opportunities for company employees.
Examples of previous volunteer opportunities include serving as mentors at local schools, supporting a local senior living center, and organizing blood donation drives. Additionally, Pinnacle formed a partnership with Sarah’s House, a Pasadena organization that supports homeless women and their children as they transition from homelessness to independence.
As the 2019 Business of the Year, Pinnacle participated in the selection committee for the 2020 recipient. Milea Cosby, Partner at Pinnacle, presented the 2020 Business of the Year award at the luncheon. Congratulations to the 2020 Business of the Year, Thrivent Financial!
