On February 21, 2019, Pinnacle employees volunteered to judge at Carter Lomax Middle School’s campus science fair. Many Pinnacle employees regularly volunteer at Carter Lomax Middle School, where they serve as mentors to students. Pinnacle employees also volunteer at other area schools and charitable organizations through the Community Outreach program and by using Volunteer Paid Time Off.
One student said of the experience, “This is my favorite part of the year. I love working on science projects and it’s cool that we get to present to adults and get their feedback and they are nice about it.”
In addition to being able to share their creative side through the science fair, students were also able to work on their presentation skills and learn valuable information from the Pinnacle volunteer judges that attended. It was a fun and exciting experience for all that were involved!
